No PageRank Update Before 2014

It is now over 8 months since the last Google Toolbar PageRank update, which occurred on February 4, 2013. Google told us there has not been a PageRank update.

@NielsBoschh asked Matt Cutts, Google's head, if there would be a PageRank update before 2014 and Matt Cutts said "I would be surprised if that happened."

So for all those waiting for a PageRank update this year, I would not wait. In fact, I'd be surprised if we see another PageRank update in initial 2014. Maybe they will do one yearly now or maybe Google will softly want it to go away and not do anymore updates?

If you read the thread, you'll see some people complaining about declines in rankings between the dates of November 1st and today. You’ll also see people happy about increases in rankings.

All the Google tracking tools don't show heavy variations, with the exception of SERPs.com, which seems to have some infection. But the most, they show some movement on October 31st and November 1st, discreet down on the 2nd and 3rd. A confound back up on November 4th and today with chatter.

Truth is, I am not sure I'd sort this as a significant update but let's see if Google announces anything.
